COOKIES POLICY.

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

The cookie is a small file that stores Internet settings. Almost every website uses cookie technology. It is downloaded from your browser when you first visit a website. When the user next visits the site from the same device, the cookie and the information stored on it will either be returned to the site that created it (the cookie installed by the provider of the site being visited by the user - 'first- party cookie "), or they will be posted to another website to which it belongs (cookie installed by other / third party" cookie providers "). The cookie allows the website to detect that you have previously visited it from this browser, and in some cases allows the customization of the content displayed.

Some cookies are extremely useful as they can improve the user experience when you open a webpage you've already visited several times. Provided that you use the same device and browser, cookies remember for example your preferences for using the website and adjust the displayed content to suit your personal interests and needs.

Depending on their function and intended purpose, cookies can be divided into four categories *: Necessary cookies, performance cookies, functionality cookies, promotional cookies.

COOKIES THAT DO NOT REQUIRE CONSENT ON THIS WEBSITE.

Necessary cookies, also referred to as "absolutely necessary" cookies, provide the functionality without which you will not be able to use this website as designed. These cookies are used exclusively by BMW and are therefore the so-called first-party cookies. They are stored on the user's device only during the current browsing. The necessary cookies ensure, for example, that when you open the car configuration application, the appropriate version will appear, with the bandwidth associated with the data volume corresponding to your Internet connection. For example, when you switch websites, these cookies ensure the functionality of a http transition to https and therefore compliance with increased security standards for data transmission. Finally, a cookie of this category saves your choice regarding the use of cookies on our site. You do not need your consent to use the necessary cookies.

Required cookies cannot be disabled using the corresponding option on this site. Generally, you can turn off cookies at any time from your browser.
